Panto's here... oh yes it is!
If you are looking for some hiss and boo action this festive season, pantomimes are popping up all over. The Corn Exchange panto opens tonight...Oxford Playhouse too, followed by The Hexagon next week and The Anvil the week after.
Plested and Brown are back full of beans for some Fee Fi Fo FUN! with Jack & The Beanstalk at Newbury Corn Exchange. When Jack sells the beloved family cow for some magic beans, a beanstalk climbing adventure ensues. But as Jack reaches the top, he finds a mystical castle in the clouds… and a very unfriendly giant who has some very unfriendly plans. Expect all the traditional Corn Exchange pantomime fun, with plenty of jokes, songs from across the decades and magic in GIGANTIC proportions. Runs to Saturday, Dec 31. The script is written by Jon Monie, winner of the Best Script at The Pantomime Awards 2019.
