Maximise the potential of your voice at Newbury Choral Society workshop

Is your voice a bit jaded after the summer break? Newbury Choral Society is hosting a voice workshop on Saturday, September10 for singers who want to refresh their voices after the summer and to explore ways of maximising the potential of their voices.

They have been fortunate to secure the skills of two experienced, professionally trained singers and voice experts to present a course which will focus on correct breathing and warm-up techniques, increasing vocal tone and range, and care of the voice as it matures.

The presentation, by Vetta Wise and Becky Moseley-Morgan, will include some singing, with the pieces chosen to put these vocal techniques into practice.

The course will be presented at Thatcham Catholic Hall from 10am to 5 pm,with a break at lunch time.

Although the event has been well supported, there are still some places available for singers from any choral or solo background who would be interested in joining in what promises to be a fun day, at a cost of £45.

Anyone interested should contact craig-david6@sky.com, specifying voice part and choir membership if applicable.
