Rockers raise £380 for Newbury Soup Kitchen

Matt Hudson of local rockers The Dead Jackals has news of their recent gig at The Lion in Newbury, at which they raised funds for Newbury Soup Kitchen.
"We raised in total £380 and the pub was packed out with 120 people," says Matt.
"All the bands on the night were absolutely fantastic!
"Thank you to The Lion for hosting the event and No Good Sons and Circus of Heathens for helping out and entertaining everyone.
"Thank you to everyone who donated – Newbury Soup Kitchen were extremely happy with the outcome and we were glad we could raise so much for those in need.
"We will look to do the same gig again with the same three bands towards the end of the year in Newbury so keep your eyes peeled for that."
