Renegades and Angels there among local producers at West Berks Watermill theatre’s two-day Christmas Fair
Great news! Due to popular demand, The Watermill’s Christmas Fair will be returning across two days on Friday, November 8, and Saturday, November 9.
Local independent businesses will be selling Christmas gifts, jewellery, baked goods and clothing.
Stallholders will include Renegade Brewery, All Angels Vineyard, Hillside House Honey, Steph Hicks, Tessa Maynard Silks, Elm and Grey, Jan Doyle Pottery, The Peackock’s Nest, Mighty Spice, Berkshire Trout, No Adde-Tives, Eco-Antique Tea Cup Candles, SEJ Designs, Rachel Brown Designs, Creative Crafts, Fino Olive Oil, Vanillo, Bee Kind, Ethel’s Pies, Suffusion, Facets Fashion, Suffusion, Lasting Impressions and Sooki Twist.
The Watermill’s own Café Bar will be open and serving festive drinks and treats, including mulled wine and mince pies to help visitors get into the spirit of the season.
The theatre’s executive director Claire Murray said: “We’re so excited to once again invite people to join us in celebrating this festive season with our Christmas Fair.
“With a range of locally made produce, this is a perfect place to get your Christmas shopping off to a fun start!
“All the proceeds from this market will help us to continue our work with and within the local community, helping to reduce social isolation, building confidence and developing communication skills.”
Entry costs £3 and under-16s go free.
As an independent charity, this event forms an important part of The Watermill’s fundraising to enable a range of activities for children and young people within its extensive Outreach programme.
A buggy park and children’s craft area will also be available to support families with small children attending.
