Everyone's a pavement artist at Newbury's Chalkfest today

Get down to Newbury Market Place today (Monday) and join the free Chalkfest fun.

You can unleash your creativity and become a pavement artist for a couple of hours between 10am and 4pm.

Organisers CityArts will allocate an area for each household/family group to create roughly a one metre square/circle picture in a safe environment. They will provide the chalk. You may have a design in mind or just be spontaneous.

It is free to chalk, but City Arts asks for a donation towards materials if you want to enter the 2022 competition (£1 per competition participant).

The prizes will be City Arts gift vouchers for children (to 12 years old) and teen (13 to 17 years old) and a Bill’s voucher for the adult (18 +) category.
