Fresh artisanal food, drink and other natural produce on offer at Watermill’s first fundraising Farmer’s Market
The Watermill has announced its first ever Farmers Market on Friday, April 26, to support its fundraising.
Visitors can enjoy locally based and sustainably minded businesses in the beautiful surroundings of the Bagnor theatre’s grounds as they come into bloom this month.
There will be more than 20 stalls offering a range of fresh artisanal food, drink and other natural produce, from cheese to honey, local beer and spirits to baked goods and chutneys.
Stallholders will include:
Berkshire Trout – A local, sustainable farm producing smoked, cured and fresh trout products.
Doves Farm – Award-winning family-owned British organic grower, miller and organic flour producer.
Ethel’s Pies – Local handmade pies, sausage rolls and pasties.
Renegade Brewery – An independent, rural brewery producing craft beers.
The Watermill’s Cafe Bar and Restaurant will be open with a delicious range of fresh seasonal refreshments, and there will be the opportunity to have a sneak peek behind the scenes in the theatre with Theatre Tours available to book on the day.
A designated buggy park and family activities area with crafts will also be on-site for little ones to get involved.
Tickets are available now at watermill.org.uk
Priced at £3, all entry fees will contribute to The Watermill’s ongoing fundraising goals towards the theatre's future productions, engagement programmes and education initiatives.
