Saturday

The Waterside Centre 3rd Birthday, Waldegrave Place, Northbrook Street, Newbury, from 10am-4pm. Includes a bouncy castle, canoe rides, face painting, stocks, arts & crafts, plus a courtyard BBQ and free ice cream and squash for under 18s. Newbury MP Lee Dillon will be cutting birthday cake at 12pm.

Burghclere and Newtown Summer Flower Show, The Portal Hall, Burghclere. Show opens at 2pm, entry free. Exhibition of flowers, vegetable, craftwork, cookery and classes for children, as well as music from the Add Hock band, refreshments, raffle, bowling and plant stall. Cash only event

Jumble sale, Padworth Village Hall, from 2pm. In aid of Padworth Village Hall.

Summer Celebration in the Labyrinth Garden, East Garston Quaker Meeting House, RG17 7EX, from 3pm-5pm. Free entry. Suitable for all ages.

Sunday

The 31st Newbury Classic Vehicle Show, Newbury Showground, from 10am-4pm. Tickets costing £8 for the public (£7 advance tickets); U14s free. Supporting Blood Cancer UK. Classic vehicles are asked to make a donation to the charity to join the display. Hosting ITV show, Junk and Disorderly and featuring music, a bouncy castle for the children, auto jumble and trade stalls. Wheelchair-friendly and dogs, on leads, welcome.

Victoria Park, Hebborns Fun Fair, from 11am daily. Runs until Sunday, August 18.

Victoria Park bandstand, Tadley Concert Band performance, 3pm-5pm.
