United Service of Remembrance, at London Road Cemetery, 3pm, offering a time of reflection and togetherness for those who have experienced loss. Open to all, it provides a gentle opportunity for bereaved family members and friends to gather in remembrance of their loved ones. Representatives and clergy from local churches will lead the inclusive, compassionate service. Newbury and District Transport group meeting, 7pm-9pm. Roger Cansdale presentation Heroes and Villains of The Basingstoke Canal, about how people over the years have ensured the canal came into being and has remained so to this day. Raffle and refreshments. Admission free, all welcome.

Wash Common Library, Knit and Natter, 3pm, take along your own knitting or join us in creating items for Knit For Peace.

Tea dance at Woolhampton village hall, 2pm-4pm. All welcome .
