Newbury Birders Spring Walk, meet Northcroft car park, 8.30am. Walk around Speen Moor looking for early migrants. Easy flat walk at a steady pace. All welcome.
Newbury Cats Protection jumble sale, The Catholic Hall, Bath Road, Thatcham, 11.30am.
Cromwell Singers present ‘As Long as I have Music’, The Baptist Church, Cheap Street, Newbury, 3pm. Show tunes from Rodgers and Hammerstein, Stephen Sondheim, and Andrew Lloyd Webber. Chieveley Market, Chieveley Recreation Centre, 9.30am to 11.30am. Local produce on offer including honey, eggs, bread, pies, and plants. Artisan chocolate and locally designed cards, tablecloths and other items.
Handybus, outside M&S Northbrook Street, Newbury. Meet the drivers and sign up to volunteer – looking for volunteer drivers, 3-4 hours a week. Come down for a chat.

Spring food and craft fair, Shaw House, 11am-4pm. More than 60 stalls offering artisan food, drink and locally produced crafts, giving you the perfect opportunity to shop for unique gifts and treats. The children’s entry price includes an activity trail in the grounds and a goody bag to take home, our indoor activity room and exhibition rooms will be open too!
