Rosie Longworth climbed the 4409 ft mountain in 11 hours to raise £400 for her school in Padworth
A TEN-YEAR-OLD girl has conquered Ben Nevis to raise money for her school in Padworth.
Rosie Longworth, pupil of Alder Bridge Steiner-Waldor, Padworth, climbed the 4409 ft mountain in 11 hours to raise £400 for her school.
When asked why she did the climb, Rosie said “I wanted to help raise money for my school and the thought of having to return all of the donated money to everyone if I had given up spurred me in to carrying on climbing".
The ten-year-old also revealed her secret in completing the climb.
She said: “Eating chocolate Easter eggs and taking homeopathic remedies definitely helped.”
