New nets for Theale Golf Club after complaints from neighbours

Theale Golf Club has had to apply for planning permission for some safety nets, after neighbours complained about balls landing in their garden and paddock.

The club got complaints on health and safety grounds and has now applied to install some netting around the 10th hole.

The proposed netting is eight metres high and attached to four poles and the club is proposing a planting programme to disguise it.
