11-year-old girl threatened at knifepoint in West Berkshire





Police said that the victim was walking past the group as the fight escalated and was confronted by three of those involved, one of whom slapped her around the face, while another threatened her with a knife.
The incident occurred at around 5.50pm on Monday, April 29 in Omers Rise, close to the Bantam pub in Burghfield.
One of the youths was wearing a balaclava, and was described as white, between 19 and 20 years old, and around 5ft 10ins with green/brown eyes.
Another was described as white, aged 19 and 6ft with brown hair and was said to be wearing a black T-shirt and a deep-blue, padded-style sleeveless jacket.
The third offender was described as white, approximately 18 years old and 5ft 11ins, with blonde hair, wearing a red top with black writing on it.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident, and anyone with information or who recognises the descriptions of the offenders, is being asked to contact Det Con Joanne Bettington on the Thames Valley Police non-emergency number 101.
