Met Office issues 15-hour yellow weather warning for wind covering West Berkshire and North Hampshire this weekend




A 15-hour yellow weather warning for wind has been issued for West Berkshire, writes Manya Mishra.

The Met Office said tomorrow (Saturday) was likely to be an “unseasonably windy day”, with the warning in place from 9am until midnight.

It warns of possible damage to road and rail transport, from fallen trees, branches and debris, as well as short-term loss of power in some areas.

The warning urges residents to be cautious and be prepared for problems.

There is also a chance of damage to trees and temporary structures, the Met Office added.
