Male driver suffers minor injuries after crash on M4 between Hungerford and Chieveley




AN 18-year-old man was treated for minor injuries after a collision on a section of the M4 earlier this (Friday) morning.

It is believed that a vehicle collided with the central reservation on the eastbound carriageway just before 9am, between junction 14 at Hungerford and 13 at Chieveley.

A spokesman from South Central Ambulance Service said: "We received a 999 call at 08:29 with the caller reporting a car had driven into the central reservation on the M4 westbound between junctions 13-14.

"We sent an ambulance to the incident and the 18-year-old male driver was treated at the scene for minor injuries."

Highways England reported that they had to close one lane of the section as they dealt with the incident, but traffic has now returned to normal.
