Stoney Lane 30mph zone to be extended next week due to planned residential development

A northwards extension to the 30mph speed limit zone on Stoney Lane has been approved and work will take place to implement it next week.

West Berkshire Council proposed the extension in the interest of road safety after plans for a new residential development on the east side of the road were approved.

Cold Ash Parish Council was consulted on the proposal but made no objections to it.

Works to extend the speed limit zone are scheduled to take place next week, from Monday, February 28.
