30th anniversary of Falklands conflict remembered today
More than 800 people are expected to attended the Falklands Memorial Chapel in Pangbourne College for the service.
Seven families of veterans are to be presented with medals, and a service of remembrance and thanks will be given.
The Falkland Islands Memorial Chapel was built to commemorate the lives of those who died in battle during the war in 1982.
It stands as a permanent memorial to remember them and the thousands of servicemen and women who served with them to protect the sovereignty of the Falkland Islands.
It cost £2.3million and was opened by the Queen in 2000.
The island was liberated on June 13, 1982, and services have been held across the world to mark the event.
A service at the chapel held last year attracted more than 500 attendees.
