4-week pastel course
Thatcham’s community art group, The Thatcham Art Experience, is hosting a four-week pastels course at the Methodist Hall (7pm-9pm) starting on Wednesday, September 4 and continuing on three consecutive Wednesdays.
The tutor will be professional artist and experienced tutor, Aldworth artist Mandy Monkcom, whose workshop in June proved very popular with regular TAE members and their guests.
Over the four weeks, Mandy aims to cover the topics of landscape, seascape, still life (with flowers) and figure/portrait.
The emphasis will be firmly on technique and she will provide all the reference and examples.
The cost of the course will be £32 payable in full on the first evening. In order to ensure the course runs, the full amount must be paid for the four sessions.
Please send your request to register for the course to the email address
