£7.50 senior citizen's lunch on Greenham menu

Chairman Tony Forward said he had negotiated a set price menu at Newbury College’s new restaurant, which could offer the parish’s senior citizens a three-course meal and coffee for £7.50 at the planned events.
“We want to make it a Greenham-based thing for Greenham people,” he said. “We want to work with the college to get the college working as part of the community.
“It brings people together that otherwise don’t come together in the community.”
The date for the first event has not yet been confirmed, however all councillors present at a meeting of the parish council last week were in support of the plan.
