92-hour drive for hospice to leave Newbury today (Tues)

Football fanatics Steve Hall, Cris Bowden, Marc Harris and Andy Price will begin the feat at the Helen and Douglas House Bartholomew Street centre at 2pm.
They will then drive to every one of the 92 Football League and Barclays Premier League grounds which will conclude at the Plymouth Argyle V Oxford United match on April 12.
The challenge has been organised with the aim of raising £5,000 for Helen and Douglas House as a result of the care it provides for the daughter of Mr Hall’s former nextdoor neighbours, Ellie, aged four, who was born with congenital toxoplasmosis.
Several of the football clubs have also donated memorabilia for the group to auction at a separate fundraising event, expected to be in late April or early May, including items from clubs in Swindon and Ipswich as well as Queen’s Park Rangers, Tottenham Hotspur and Millwall.
Enterprise Newbury donated the hire of a car for the challenge.
