£9m school building project in Tilehurst to be opened today (Tues)

The project was completed last term and has seen upgrades to teaching facilities in science, IT, art, music and philosophy as well as providing new social and study spaces for sixth form students.
The building also includes the Da Vinci space, which has provided a new venue for assemblies and exhibitions and has become the new focal point of the the school.
Sir John Madejski will be the guest of honour at the ceremony which will include a tour of the new facilities and a display of the student's work.
Students will also be holding their house charity summer fair and will be inviting guests to take part in the challenges they have on offer.
The ceremony and tours will run from 12:15pm to 2:45pm.
