A339 near Kingsclere remains closed due to overturned lorry
Hampshire Constabulary confirmed at 11am today (Friday) the A339 remains closed near the Star pub, just outside Kingsclere, and was likely to remain closed for the next three hours.
South Central Ambulance spokesman, James Keating-Wilkes, said ambulance services - including the Thames Valley and Chiltern Air Ambulance - were called to the scene at 9.43am today.
A 53-year-old man was taken by land ambulance to the Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital, with minor arm injuries, following the single vehicle collision.
A rapid response vehicle and double-manned ambulance were sent to the scene.
Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service (HFRS) were called to the scene at 9.45am.
Fire crews from Kingsclere and also Basingstoke fire stations were in attendance.
HFRS spokesman, James Morton, confirmed the lorry driver was not cut out of the vehicle. Firefighters assisted ambulance staff in putting the casualty in the ambulance and left the scene at 10.11am
