A34 closure affecting traffic between Newbury and Whitchurch

One lane of the A34 is closed southbound between Old Burghclere and Whitchurch because of an overturned vehicle.
The accident occurred between the junctions with the A343 and the A303.
Highways England says that the incident is expected to clear between 5.15pm and 5.30pm.
