A34 collision at Abingdon

Thames Valley Police were called at 6.42am to the collision involving five vehicles on the A34 northbound near the Milton Interchange south of Abingdon.
Traffic is currently prevented from joining the A34 northbound at the Milton Interchange. There is one lane open to allow traffic flow past the scene of the incident.
The road is open but due to the weather conditions and the traffic congestion, drivers are being urged to avoid the area.
Traffic is reportedly backedup into Abingdon

Traffic is now flowing freely along the northbound carriageway of the A34 at Abingdon, according to the Highways Agency.
The northbound carriageway of the A34 at the Milton Interchange was re-opened shortly after 9.25am
