A34 East Ilsley/Chieveley re-opened after incident this morning (Wed)
Further A34 Chieveley/Speen incident involving 3 lorries during early hours
ANOTHER accident on the A34 between East Ilsley and Chieveley caused traffic problems this morning (Wednesday) and following a separate incident on the same road during the early hours of this morning.
The road is blocked and there are severe delays northbound near East Ilsley after an accident involving four vehicles.
Traffic is queuing back to Chieveley.
A further A34 incident happened during the early hours of this morning.
Three lorries were involved in a collision (pictured) in a A34 layby between Chieveley and Speen.
Two pumps from Newbury and a heavy rescue unit were called at 2am to the southbound layby.
A man was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford with minor injuries, after South Central Ambulance Services were called at 1.51am.
Police update awaited.
Firefighters left at 3am.
