A34 lane closure following earlier accident

Thames Valley Police were called at 3.44pm to the accident involving a white Volkswagen Passat on the southbound carriageway before Chieveley.
The car had ended up in a ditch on the side of the road and the male driver was treated by an ambulance crew for a head injury.
Both lanes were blocked as debris had spilt over two lanes but the lane closure has now been reduce to just one.
There are currently delays of about 15 minutes and normal traffic conditions are expected by 6pm.
