A34 northbound closed at Newbury following accident

A spokesman for Thames Valley Police, James Williams, said that the police were alerted to a one-vehicle collision on the A34, just north of the Tot Hill service station, at 6:50am today.
The northbound carriageway is closed between the two junctions to allow the air ambulance to land.
The fire and ambulance services are currently on the scene.
Motorists are being advised to find an alternative route.
