A34 reopens at East Ilsley

The A34 has reopened near East Ilsley.

All lanes are now open but slow traffic is reported on the southbound carriageway.

The road was closed at 10.04am in both directions after a Land Rover and a trailer overturned.

Ambulance crews were called to the scene and one person was treated for minor injuries.

The closure follows an accident on the M4 yesterday, which led to gridlock along the A4 from Newbury to Theale.
