A34 resurfacing to start tonight

The work, on the slip road from the roundabout to the southbound A34, will be carried out by the Highways Agency to improve the condition of the surface and improve the skid resistance.
The slip road will be closed between 10pm and 6am tonight, and there will be no access to the Chieveley services from the southbound carriageway.
Highways Agency project sponsor, Guy Watts, said: “Safety is a top priority for the Highways Agency and we will be resurfacing the worn-out surface to ensure that journeys remain safe and reliable at this busy junction.
“I would advise anyone that wishes to use this slip road to plan ahead and allow extra time for their journey.”
