Long delays as A34 shut northbound at Milton interchange due to overturned HGV

Diversions are in place between the A4130 (Milton) and the A415 (Abingdon) with traffic queuing back towards East Ilsley.

Traffic was temporarily held on the southbound carriageway to allow the air ambulance to land, the air ambulance has now lifted and all lanes have re-opened southbound.

The lorry has now been cleared, but the road remains shut while the police carry out their accident investigation.

The incident is not expected to clear before 10pm.
