A34 slip road closures at East Ilsley
The northbound slip roads are to close for four nights, starting tonight (Monday) for maintenance works
MOTORISTS may experience delays on the A34 as the northbound exit and entry slip roads at East Ilsley will be closed for four nights from tonight (Monday).
One lane on the A34 northbound carriageway will also be closed as maintenance work, involving resurfacing and repainting the road markings, is carried out.
To keep disruption to road users to a minimum, the work will be undertaken overnight, between 10pm and 5.30am, when traffic flows are lowest.
During these hours the northbound exit and entry slip roads at East Ilsley will be closed.
A diversion route via West Ilsley and East Ilsley will be in place.
On the main northbound carriageway lane one will be closed, with traffic being led past the site. There will be a 40mph speed restriction on the approach to the work, and 10mph restriction past the work site.
