A343 in Highclere to close overnight for resurfacing work

Hampshire County Council have confirmed work to prepare the road for resurfacing and between the junctions of Highclere Street, will take place on Monday October 21, between 9.30am and 3pm.
The resurfacing work will then start on Tuesday October 22 and will take four nights to complete.
The road will be closed from 7.30pm to 6.30am for each night of the resurfacing and diversions will be in place via the A34 and A303.
The council has stated the road works will inevitably cause some disruption and inconvenience, with residents and businesses asked to bear with the council while it carries out this essential maintenance work.
