A4 closed after Woolhampton crash




One person taken to hospital

ONE person has been taken to hospital after a car overturned on the A4 in Woolhampton this morning (Sunday).

Thames Valley Police, South Central Ambulance Service and crews from Newbury Fire Station all attended the scene close to the Rising Sun pub shortly after 5am.

The road was closed following the single vehicle collision and one of the two occupants of the Isuzu pickup was taken to Oxford's John Radcliffe Hospital.

Details of their condition is not yet clear.
