Abandoned Lizzy deserves a ticket to happiness

Lizzy was named after Team GB Winter Olympic medal winner Lizzy Yarnold and staff at Dogs Trust Newbury are hoping that she will strike gold in her search for a brand new home.
Assistant manager at Dogs Trust Newbury, Jenny Hopkins, said: “We were shocked to hear that Lizzy had been abandoned at a bus stop, especially with all the flooding we have had.
“Luckily, this hasn’t affected her spirit and Lizzy is still a lively little lass who loves to make friends with everyone she meets.
“She has such a sweet, affectionate nature that it’s hard not to be won over by her shining personality.
“As she is still a youngster, she would benefit from a home where she can continue her training and learn impeccable manners.
