Accident causes traffic problems on A34 Northbound near East Ilsley

Police confirm that there was only one car involved in accident, not seven as reported elsewhere

SLOW moving traffic, northbound on the A34 near East Ilsley has been reported following a single car accident causing a lane closure.

The problems were exacerbated when a second vehicle, an articulated lorry broke down nearby, police reported at 3.45pm this afternoon (Friday).

Commuters have reported slow moving traffic in the area.
