Accident on A34 southbound causing delays





A spokesman from the Highways Agency, James Wright, confirmed at 5pm today (Wednesday) that one lane had reopened but the second lane was likely to remain closed for several hours while vehicles were recovered.
He added that tailbacks stretched approximately four miles to M4 junction 13.
Mr Wright said 170 mentres of the central reservation area had been damaged and would need to be repaired before the road can be re-opened fully.
