Full-time | 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

As one of the leading girls’ independent boarding schools in the country, we pride ourselves on offering a supportive, creative and enriching environment for our girls. The Estates Department is responsible for continuing maintenance and repair of the buildings and services across the Downe House Estate, and we are now looking for an Administrator to help us to support those services and to ensure all administrative requirements are carried out efficiently and to the highest standards. You will also provide support to the Director of Estates with diary and meeting management, preparation of duty managers’ rotas and other ad-hoc duties. You will have excellent IT and organisational skills with strong attention to detail and you will enjoy working as part of a small but busy team. More important is your ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people, juggle a busy workload, and work in a methodical and well-organised way. The role will work 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday, with some flexibility available on exact working hours. Please note that this is not a term time only contract.
