Advice following Woolton Hill fire

One crew from Newbury and one from Kingsclere attended the fire at Church Lane at about 1am.
The residents of the property had closed the door to the kitchenette and crew manager, Mike Wilson, praised their actions for containing the fire.
He said: “The room is destroyed.
“Close any doors you can; if they hadn’t, other parts of the house would have been damaged.”
