Aerial gymnastics display steals Silchester talent show

The Silchester’s Got Talent competition, held on June 20, at Silchester primary school, was won by pupil, Leah Ford, aged ten.
Her Aerial Hoop, acrobatic dance routine was judged the winner by the guest panel and which proved: “A very popular decision with the packed audience in the school hall,” said villager, Pete Hughes.
The talent competition, organised by the primary school’s PTA, saw 25 acts with a range of song, dance, stand up comedy and instrumental performances.
The following afternoon (Sat June 21), Leah took on the honour of opening Silchester’s fete, on Silchester Common, before also performing afterwards in the arena, to entertain the crowds.
