Affray in Newbury sparks police appeal
The incident occurred after an altercation broke out between two groups of people at the McDonalds restaurant in Northbrook Street at 1.23am on August 4.
Staff contacted police but some of the offenders fled when officers arrived.
No-one was injured but a restaurant window was smashed.
Two men, aged 21 and 17, both from Newbury, have been arrested in connection with the incident.
The 21-year-old was arrested on suspicion of using threatening words/behaviour to cause harassment, alarm or distress and on suspicion of causing criminal damage.
The 17-year-old was arrested on suspicion of affray.
Both have been released on bail until September 4.
Investigating officer, PC John Heatley, said: “This affray happened at a restaurant where members of the public would have seen the events. I am appealing for anyone with any information about this affray to please contact us.”
