Air ambulance called to Thatcham last night (Tuesday)





Residents reported seeing an air ambulance and police activity in the Park Lane area last night.
A spokeswoman for the South Central Ambulance Service, Michelle Archer, said that crews were called to a medical emergency, where the patient was in a life threatening condition, at 7.40pm and that the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance had also been called.
Although she could not provide any further details on the patient, Mrs Archer said that they had been taken to hospital in Southampton by ambulance.
Thames Valley Police said that officers had been called to a fear for welfare incident in the town.
