Air ambulance lands at Brimpton Common after woman is cut from overturned car




AN AIR ambulance landed at Brimpton Common late this morning (Tues), after a woman was cut from a car on its side, following a collision.


Fire crews from Newbury and Kingsclere, along with a heavy rescue unit were called to a two car collision at 11.47am to the B3051, near the Pineapple pub.
Firefighters cut a woman out of a car, who was then taken to hospital.
Firefighters left the scene at 12.30pm.
The B3051 was closed throughout.
Update
South Central Ambulance Service (SCAS) said the Hampshire and Isle of Wight air ambulance and also two ambulances were called to the scene at 11.39am.
A patient was treated at the scene, before being taken by road to the Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital.
The ambulance service was unable to provide any further details as to the nature, or severity of the patient's injuries.
