An air ambulance touched down in Victoria Park after a man suffered a fall on Northbrook Street.
The man, believed to be in his fifties, tripped over a dip in the pavement outside the Naomi House & Jacksplace charity shop earlier this afternoon.
The spot has reportedly been the site of multiple similar incidents in recent years.
The helicopter touched down in Victoria Park at around 1.20pm and paramedics walked from the park to the scene of the injury.
An ambulance was also present at the scene, and was parked outside Luna Boutique.
The ambulance drove away at 1.43pm, presumably with the man inside, and the air ambulance took off at 1.47pm.
