Reading Magistrates' Court: Newbury woman's alcohol ban for attacking hospital nurses
A WOMAN who attacked two hospital nurses has been given a court ordered alcohol ban.
In the dock at Reading Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, August 3, was Chloe Stockwell.
The 23-year-old, of London Road, Newbury, admitted assaulting Lorraine Toomey and Victoria Bishop at the Royal Berkshire Hospital in Reading on Monday, February 28.
Both women were nurses and on duty at the time, the court heard.
Ms Stockwell was made subject to a community order under the terms of which she was required to abstain from alcohol, monitored by an electronic device, for 120 days.
In addition, she was ordered to complete 120 hours of unpaid community work.
Ms Stockwell was also required to pay £100 costs.
Finally, the court ordered her to pay her victims £75 each in lieu of an otherwise statutory victim services surcharge.
