Aldworth flower festival begins

The annual Aldworth flower festival returns to St Mary's church today (Saturday) and tomorrow
THE Aldworth Flower festival has returned.
Taking place at St Mary's Church, Aldworth today (Saturday) and tomorrow from 11am until 5pm, the festival will have a theme of Bible stories.
All of the village flower arrangers have planned a set of scented displays to depict scenes from many different biblical tales, and the and the church itself will also be full of flowers.
All funds raised will go towards the St Mary's Church restoration fund, which will go towards saving the historic stone effigies, the Aldworth giants, housed within.
