Alien tale unfolds in Hungerford

With more than 2.5 million views of his movie projects on YouTube the 19-year-old’s profile got him noticed by new talent incubator Wildseed Studios Ltd., based in Bristol and London.
Producer and Wildseed Studios creative director Jesse Cleverly said: “I was introduced to Drew’s YouTube films by a mutual friend from Hungerford.
”I could see immediately that he had huge talent and that with a bit of investment and support he could make something really special.”
Six months later the cameras were rolling in Hungerford for Mr Casson’s latest sci-fi horror film called ‘Hunger

Ford’.
Mr Casson said: “It’s a coming-of-age story about a group of friends who are faced with an alien invasion of their town and have to decide whether to be everything they can be or roll over and give up.
“It is great to have the professional support for this web series and the chance to include local people who have starred in earlier films together with local actors; I am acting in the series and directing it and am confident we are going to have something people will want to watch.”
Producer and managing director of Wildseed, Miles Bullough, said: “We’ve been bowled over by the friendliness and enthusiasm of the people in the town. So many people have offered to help and The Hungerford Club kindly invited us to base our production in their car park and have been really supportive. We are working on a really tight budget and generosity like this has helped this project.
Once the film is completed in the autumn, Wildseed Studios is planning to screen the film in Hungerford and to invite everyone who has helped make it possible.
