All aboard for model railway exhibition
The Newbury Model Railway Club will hold its biggest model train exhibition ever at Park House School today (Saturday)
A NEWBURY model railway club is calling all aboard for its biggest model train exhibition ever.
Amongst other projects, Newbury Model Railway Club will be exhibiting their work-in-progress, Falkland Vale, a 9 meter by 6 meter 00 gauge layout at the annual exhibition at Park House School in Newbury today (Saturday) between 10am and 5pm.
This will be the first opportunity for the public to see the project which is four years in the making.
The organisers of the event say that the show will be their biggest yet and that they will have 15 other layouts on display alongside the new Falkland Vale project.
Peter Dunn said: “We intend to run a mix of different trains from different eras on the tracks to inspire people with different interests.”
Other exhibitors at the show include Pendon Museum and Newbury Precision Model Engineering Club.
