All change for the new Spring Inn

The Bath Road watering hole and gastropub is under new management and has had extensive interior decoration and outside landscaping.
At the helm is 38-year-old Ben Smith, who bought it in May.
The Spring Inn had been closed after the company that owned it went into administration and Mr Smith immediately set to work transforming the place, replacing the floors and rebuilding the bar area and kitchen.
The new decor gives an impression of spaciousness, enhanced by an enormous mirror at the top of the staircase to the upper restaurant area.
Mr Smith said he is now catering to 1,200 diners per week and added: “Our emphasis is on fresh food and we’re passionate about what we do. Everything is home cooked.”
A dedicated team of chefs is overseen by Mo Benassar, who has worked with celebrity chef Heston Blumenthal and helped to create the new menus.
Mr Smith was born in Leicerstershire but left when he was aged 18 to help run the family business - the Bel and Dragon in Cookham, Berkshire.
More recently he ran the successful gastropub The George at Wraysbury, in the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead, before buying the Spring Inn.
