All lanes on A34 now clear
Both incidents involved two vehicles.
The first occurred at East Ilsley shortly before 7.30am.
One lane was blocked and the Highways Agency reported delays of 30 to 40-minutes in the area.
One patient was been taken to the John Radcliffe hospital in Oxford via ambulance, but the extent of their injuries was not confirmed. A rapid response vehicle also attended.
A second collision occurred at Chieveley, beneath the junction for the M4 roundabout, and involved a Peugeot and a Ford Focus.
A spokeswoman for Thames Valley Police said they were alerted to the incident at around 8:34am and that police, fire and ambulance crews were currently in attendance.
One lane was blocked.
A spokesman for the Highways Agency, who asked not to be named, said: “This was an incident that occurred from the tailbacks from the first [accident]."
Police were directing traffic at both incidents to make way for emergency and recovery vehicles.
Police confirmed at 10.06am that both incidents had been cleared.
