All Newbury homes now reconnected with electricity

The storm left 1,900 without power on Monday night and Southern Electric engineers have been working to fix the issue, however this morning 100 properties in Newbury were still without electricity.
A statement released by the electricity firm this afternoon (Fri) confirmed that the final 100 properties had been reconnected with electricity.
There are still 800 homes in the south east without power, including in rural parts of Hampshire, Surrey and West Sussex.
