Kintbury harassment case: Man cleared of stalking charges, restraining order issued
A man accused of stalking has been cleared of the charge.
Neil Nicholson went on trial at Reading Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, May 2.
The 47-year-old, of Newbury Street, Kintbury, denied pursuing a course of conduct which amounted to the harassment of Katherine Le Bon in Kintbury by contacting her with unwanted calls and messages between May 18 and July 6 last year.
District judge Samuel Goozee found Mr Nicholson not guilty of the single charge.
Nevertheless Mr Nicholson, who was legally represented at the trial by Adonis Daniel, agreed to be made subject to a restraining order preventing him from contacting Ms Le Bon, either directly or indirectly, for the next 12 months.
